Solid ring needle roller bearings have a compact structure, small radial size and large load capacity. They are suitable for parts with limited radial profile size. They can also be widely used when the shaft or shell has a swinging motion. Needle roller bearings generally can only bear radial load and can not bear axial load, when there is axial load, should be combined with other bearings to adapt, it does not limit the axial displacement of the shaft or shell. The limit speed of needle roller bearings is low, and the needle roller bearings with cages should be selected as far as possible under the condition of higher host speed. Compared with other types of rolling bearings, under the condition of the same radial size, the load capacity of needle roller bearings is the largest, its rigidity is higher, but the friction torque is also larger.

This kind of bearing has a variety of structures and size series, requiring that the hardness, machining accuracy, and surface roughness of the journal or shell rolling surface should be the same as that of the bearing ring. The assembled G2 class needle roller has a group batch diameter variation within 2 um. Except for fully loaded needle roller bearings, high-rigidity cages are used to guide the parallel axis of the needle roller correctly.
